- Colombia boasts 1,800 miles of coastline on two oceans.

There are around 300 beaches throughout the country, among them some of the most renowned are:
- San Andres and Providencia, lapped by the sea of seven colours that invite you to rest and are ideal for water sports.
- Providencia, 56 miles from San Andres, is an unrivalled beach with a rich variety of ecosystems, declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
- Santa Marta and the Tayrona National Park, among the top 20 destinations to visit in 2012 as recognized by the NatGeo Traveller magazine.
- Islas del Rosario, Baru and San Bernardo are three islands with white sands close to Cartagena.
- Ladrilleros, Juanchaco and other beaches on the pacific coast, bordered by the virgin Choco rainforest.
